[Kavinsky had been two seconds away from saying something like don't tempt me or only in my dreams when Ronan kissed him. He went completely still for a moment, surprise and hope flaring through him. All of the times he'd dreamed about the other boy, touching, kissing, fucking--he'd never thought any of them would really become reality. He wanted more than just the physical things though, he wanted to not be alone, to have Ronan at his side.
As dream-like as the moment felt, he knew he had to be awake right now because Ronan kissed him way more gently than he ever did in Kavinsky's dreams. It made his heart stutter.
Without hesitation, he reached up to grab onto Ronan's shoulder, fingers pressing against his skin, and kissed him back. He took care not to be too aggressive, but he clearly knew what he was doing. He wanted to kiss Ronan forever, to make out until their mouths were sore, but he drew back after a moment or two-]
